Fluorescent dyes are brilliant and indispensable tools for bioimaging as they are able of producing bright and easily detectable signals. When attached to biomolecules or designed to accumulate in specific cellular compartments, these dyes allow researchers to visualize the structure and dynamics of living systems with high spatial and temporal resolution.
