Reagent for S(VI) transfer

(R)-N-(Diisopropylcarbamoyl)-2-methylpropane-2-sulfonimidoyl fluoride

(R)-N-(Diisopropylcarbamoyl)-2-methylpropane-2-sulfonimidoyl fluoride is a chiral, bifunctional S(VI) transfer reagent that enables the asymmetric synthesis of sulfoximines, sulfonimidoyl fluorides, and sulfonimidamides1. It is designed as a stable and bench-accessible alternative for sulfur–fluorine exchange (SuFEx) chemistry, allowing stereoselective functionalization of sulfur centers. The reagent facilitates rapid synthesis of enantiopure sulfur-containing compounds with excellent enantiomeric excess, broad substrate scope, and high efficiency. It has been demonstrated to be useful in pharmaceutical synthesis, particularly in accessing biologically active sulfoximine derivatives. The reagent remains highly stable under ambient conditions for extended periods.

Synonyms: (R)-N-(diisopropylcarbamoyl)-2-methylpropane-2-sulfonimidoyl fluoride; 2-propanesulfonimidoyl fluoride, N-[[bis(1-methylethyl)amino]carbonyl]-2-methyl-, [S(R)]- (ACI); 3-[(R)-tert-butyl(fluoro)oxo-lambda6-sulfanylidene]-1,1-bis(propan-2-yl)urea
