Oxidation reagent
Keto-ABNO is a yellow crystalline solid used in catalytic aerobic oxidation and protein modification1. It oxidizes secondary amines to imines and alcohols to ketones or carboxylic acids more efficiently than TEMPO due to less steric hindrance. The reagent can be utilized for serine-selective peptide cleavage and tryptophan-selective bioconjugation, aiding in chemical biology and medicinal applications. Keto-ABNO is bench-stable for several months and soluble in various organic solvents.
