Let’s fight COVID-19 together

An international group of scientists from academia and industry, including Enamine, is trying to help combat COVID-19. This effort began when Chinese scientists worked rapidly to determine the structure of the novel SARS‑CoV‑2 main protease (Mpro), which triggered a massive crystal-based fragment screen at the XChem facility at UK’s Diamond Light Source. For more details, please visit https://www.diamond.ac.uk/covid-19. With the same urgency, the scientists are now trying to progress these data towards what is desperately needed: effective, easy-to-make anti-COVID drugs https://covid.postera.ai/covid.

The second round of molecules submission will close on Thursday, April 2nd midnight Pacific Time, but there will be more. Please, send your idea on how to merge the fragments and get potentially active molecules by Wednesday.

The advent of the new coronavirus has revealed that the drug discovery is not ready for such a challenge. It’s time to change. We must adopt new paradigms and learn to work quicker together. Enamine is open to any collaboration where we can efficiently contribute with our immense readily accessible (REAL) chemical space and provide new test compounds within a few weeks only.
