EnamineStore website provides a user-friendly public RESTful application programming interface (API) so that customers’ procurement software (or scripts) can directly communicate with our website and return data in XML or JSON formats to their in-house systems.

An e-Catalog is a customized file containing product information, including catalog numbers, structures, pricing, custom discounts, availability, lead times etc, which is prepared by Enamine for the customers who prefer to have Enamine catalogs readily available inside their purchasing systems. When integrating, the e-Catalog file is uploaded to a customer’s procurement platform in a static format. In parallel, a dynamic “Live Link” is established between the customer’s procurement system and EnamineStore backend.

After the integration with e-Catalog file is complete, customer’s chemists or purchasing managers can search compounds internally within the uploaded file, but the data for all search results is automatically and momentarily updated via the “live link”. Hence, any search is supported with only up-to-date product information, obtained directly from our database.

Enamine eCatalog file can be obtained in a number of suitable formats, including .SDF, . XLS, .CIF, .CSV, .XML, and TXT — depending on the customer’s requirements and a purchasing system configuration.

Our building blocks and screening compounds catalogs at EnamineStore.com are available as punchout catalogs for e-Procurment oriented customers, and is compatible with most purchasing and spend control software (SAP/Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, Agresso, etc). We have completed numerous integration projects with a diversity of customers (from big pharma to biotech startups), so our team has extensive experience with eCommerce integrations.

Once punchout integration between your purchasing system and our punchout catalog is established via secure data exchange standards (cXML, or OCI), your scientists or purchasing managers can search our catalogs right inside your purchasing system, create and confirm carts, and submit electronic purchase orders (POs) to us in an automatic way. Once POs get into our system, they are automatically routed for fulfillment, without intervention of our sales managers. This substantially decreases time and errors of purchase transactions.

Another important advantage is that all your purchasing and supplier information is circulated in one easy to report system-providing transparency, control and compliance of the purchasing process.

By having punchout integration with Enamine catalogs, your e-Procurement system can send orders to EnamineStore via cXML or EDI data exchange protocols.

Key benefits:

  • Minimizes requisition times
  • Automates order placement and processing
  • Facilitates order consolidation — a potential source of cost savings
  • Speeds up turnaround — instantaneous order entry to our sales system
  • Special discount regimes for integrated customers
  • Fully customized catalogs (we include only what you prefer to have)
