The partners agreed to jointly develop a new chemical space by fueling the world’s largest collection of building blocks provided by Enamine to Synple Chem’s reaction outcome prediction tools. Researchers will be able to download the resulting compound library and search it using their workflows. Selected compounds will be synthesized by Synple Chem’s automated synthesis platform.

2-(Trifluoroacetyl)-1,3-azoles readily react with methyl acrylate and acrylonitrile under Baylis-Hillman reaction conditions to afford heterocyclic trifluoromethyl-containing allylic alcohols in 36-97% yields. The thus obtained Baylis-Hillman adducts readily undergo Michael addition reactions with various nucleophiles.
