Since our trial release of the new EnamineStore last year we’ve been hard at work moving the rest of the functionality to the new web store and listening to the feedback we’ve received from our users. Even though we still have things to catch up on and review we think our application is ready to welcome all of our user base.
Moving forward with the new design
Since our trial release of the new EnamineStore last year we’ve been hard at work moving the rest of the functionality to the new web store and listening to the feedback we’ve received from our users. Even though we still have things to catch up on and review we think our application is ready to welcome all of our user base.
We are now moving forward with the replacement of our old EnamineStore as starting today the primary website you’ll land on when visiting enaminestore.com will be the new app. All of your profile data, orders, open carts are migrated so you shouldn’t experience any issues with the onboarding.
The old website will continue to be available for a while by following the link in profile and footer. But it is expected to be switched off later this year.
What has been changed?
Most of the elements of the website were tweaked after extensive analysis on how our users interacted with new app. Here are some notable highlights of the changes since our first roll out.
Global UI Update
The overall look and feel of the interface was updated to be more coherent and easy to interact with.
User Profile
User Profile was reworked to accommodate detailed orders and quote overview, ability to manage Tax Free Certificates and Billing Page to pay outstanding invoices.
Checkout
Adjustments were made to remove some of the bottle necks within the checkout along with the new Pay by card option for out US customers.
Ability to select Partial Shipment and Rush Delivery was added as well to provide more flexibility with shipping options.
Search capabilities
Search results feed was tweaked to showcase initial search query and chemical search capabilities were improved to improve overall results relevance.
Product Details
We shrunk the product page to highlight our Lead Time estimate, Warehouses availability and make room for additional product propositions for our catalog. Separate sections with Product Forms, In-Stock Equivalents and Product Analogs were added to help find another form or replacement for a compound.
Next steps for EnamineStore
We appreciate everyone who’s been in contact with us aftrer trying out the new EnamineStore and we are looking forward to providing a better experience for our customers within the website. Out team will be closely monitoring the performance of the website after the release to make sure the transition goes smoothly.
In the nearest months we’ll be focusing on a major API rework, addition of advanced filters to our search results and a bunch of improvements to the existing interfaces(such as Reworked quote process and more clarity in our Stock Availability and Lead times).
